Sadegh Mollaee, the co-founder of Overlap Animation Studio located in Tehran, Iran, has amassed over 12 years of experience in illustration and graphic design for games, animation, and books.

Sadegh and his team have been diligently working on the ‘Zal and the Phoenix’ animation since 2021, and their passion project is nearing completion.

In addition to his role as an Indie game developer and 2D spine animator, Sadegh has developed and published games for iOS and Android platforms.

His work has garnered recognition, with titles such as Sneaky Run and Dumb Runner being featured games in over 150 countries on the App Store. Furthermore, he was honored with the Best-Chosen Game award for Global Game Jam Rubberitual.

Sadegh’s accolades include the Khwarizmi Award, as well as various other notable achievements.
