Sadegh Mollaee co-founded Overlap Animation Studio, located in Tehran, Iran.
Sadegh is a seasoned illustrator and graphic designer with over 13 years of experience in games, animation, and publishing. His artistic vision and technical expertise have contributed to various creative projects across multiple platforms.
Sadegh and his dedicated team have brought Zal and the Phoenix to life—an animated passion project.
In addition to his work as an indie game developer and 2D Spine animator, Sadegh has developed and published several mobile games for iOS and Android.
His titles Sneaky Run and Dumb Runner were featured on the App Store in more than 150 countries, highlighting his talent for engaging gameplay and design.
Sadegh’s achievements include the Best Chosen Game award at the Global Game Jam for Rubberitual and the esteemed Khwarizmi Award, among other notable honours.
